Ashley James

Biography

Ashley is a native Tennessean who was raised in Robertson County. She attended the University of Tennessee where she received a B.S. in Political Science and graduated summa cum laude. As an undergraduate, she was a member of Kappa Alpha Pi, Leading Women of Tomorrow, and 1794 Honors Program.

Ashley is currently working on receiving her J.D. at Nashville School of Law and expects to graduate in May 2025. Prior to joining Batson Nolan, Ashley worked as a legal assistant in the areas of criminal and family law. Ashley joined Batson Nolan in 2021 and has worked primarily in the areas of Estate Planning and Probate.

In her spare time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband and two Labrador Retrievers, Ranger and Delta, reading, and cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers!
